EuroCast 2079 - Glass Filled Polyurethane Casting Resin

EuroCast 2079 reacts with Part B to form a tough, highly chemical and abrasion resistant, very rigid polyurethane.
 
Mix Ratios
By Weight: 3.00 parts A to 1.00 part B
By Volume: 2.15 parts A to 1.00 part B

The components should be measured to an accuracy of 2% or better. Care should be taking when measuring by volume as this is an inherently inaccurate method unless specific volumetric measuring equipment is used.
 
Applications
EuroCast 2079 has been formulated for use in moulding applications where a very rigid product is required with good stiffness and abrasion resistance characteristics. Predominantly used for vacuum casting applications.  In addition, with suitable postcure, EuroCast 2079 is capable of withstanding brief periods of exposure to temperatures around 150°C.
 
 
Gel Time (100g 20°C): 20-25 Minutes
Full Cure (100g 20°C): 6-8 Days
Hardness at full cure: 80-90 Shore D
 
For best results use with RTV440.
